“My weight was climbing ever higher and my blood sugars were erratic. I was sleeping poorly and had very little energy. Nothing was working and my physician suggested I work with a nutritionist or a health coach. I knew Edie, trusted her and I approached her. And it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
My weight is dropping slowly. My blood sugars have dropped and leveled off. I sleep better. All of this still needs much improvement. But what I did STOP doing is finding myself saying “oh what the heck” and falling back into old habits and end up beating myself up over it– essentially creating a looping roller coaster of ups and downs in my weight, health and sleep habits.
I understand Primary foods and thrive on them! I’ve learned how to let things go and better control my obsessive qualities and my demand for perfection. I am better at setting limits and I have accomplished several goals I’ve been working on for a few years now and procrastinating about due to my need for perfection. My goals are much more realistic and obtainable.
My stress level especially at holidays and events is sooooooo much lower because I know it will get done and it doesn’t have to be perfect! Edie is one of the kindest, most genuine human beings you will encounter in your life. She has lived this and does NOT make judgments! She shares her ups and downs and her successes and failures. She helps you get to your own core issues and face them and then figure out how to deal with them in a realistic fashion. One-on-one or in a group setting, Edie rolls up her sleeves and participates; not just preceptors. Edie offers suggestions. “When I came to Edie my goals were to have better communication/self-expression, to find a new job, and to have more gratitude.

Edie helped me work toward these goals by creating a safe space that allowed me to feel comfortable and open up, which then allowed me to practice better communication. Lastly, her positive approach allowed me to see more of the good in day to day life which allowed me to have more gratitude.
